Book Description(via Goodreads)

Fifteen-year-old Oliver Grain begins his school year fighting off bullies, learning about the boy who committed suicide in his room, and trying to understand why his history teacher, Mr. Gordon, has taken such a personal interest in him.

Do you believe in ghosts? Do you believe you can make bullies simply disappear? Do you believe you can walk through walls?

Mr. Gordon tells Oliver: "When you truly believe anything is possible, you will be able to open doors where there were only walls." And one of those doors leads Oliver to Provex City, which puts him in far greater danger than he can possibly fathom.

My review

Provex city by Michael Pierce is such a fantastic read. I am really glad I was given a wonderful opportunity to review this extremely fascinating novel. What is so special about this novel is the story plot which is so fresh and at all points it will keep you wanting more. After having read this novel, I can honestly tell everyone will absolutely enjoy reading it.
Here we find the story told in Oliver’s point of view who happens to be the main protagonist of the novel. He and his brother are two newbies in Eastman High School. Unlike his brother Jeremy who has already made lot of girlfriends and kept his life busy, he has trouble adapting to his new environment. But when everyone else in the school is preoccupied, a very cute girl, Desiree voluntarily talks to him and soon they become close friends. If you think they too will fall in love eventually, they might because Desiree has a boyfriend named Eli.
As a fact, I was moved by the way the author has portrayed all the characters, especially Oliver and his history teacher, Mr.Gordon. These are all the characters that anyone of us can relate to. Not only this, we have weird things happening in and around Oliver’s life that he himself didn’t dream off before. Here a question arises, will he be able to let Mr. Gordon teach him to experience something he has never imagined of.

Within this creepy, suspenseful, and no less than a haunting thriller story,  there hides too many answers that is yet to be unfolded by the author in the next series. Provex city is a very intriguing city that no one will ever forget. I also appreciate the author’s brilliant narrative and the choice of characters, it couldn't have been made better. This is an extraordinary paranormal story that has a touch of mystery where you will be made to believe whatever you read. I assure the first half of the story is sure to trigger some bygone memories of our past.
